Recent parent testimonial—

“My daughter has been a student at Newport City Martial Arts since she was 7. Ellie-may is now 11, nearly 12. Ellie-may has improved in all aspects of her life due to the classes and teaching skills of Master Smith and his instructors. They are a team of instructors that work together to benefit the children not just in martial arts but also other areas of their lives.”

More about our children’s martial arts lessons

The kickboxing lessons we provide are divided into 5 different age groups. This ensures that kids aged 3-4 or 5-6 are given age appropriate martial arts training. It also ensures they are not mixing with older children of say age 7-10 or 11-14. If your child is aged 15+ you will need to go to the adults martial arts page for more information.

Each class have been specifically developed for the age group. As a result there is no contact or actual fighting until the older age groups. With the youngest children we provide an ‘edutainment’ curriculum that keeps them engaged and entertained.
